London Banking & Capital Markets Programme
Two weeks in London building real capital-markets skills. Taught by practitioners, in one of the world's leading financial centres.
Now accepting partner institutions for 2027 cohorts.
Over two weeks and ten teaching days, students learn how banking and capital markets really work — investment banking, equity and debt capital markets, valuation, financial modelling, asset management, private markets and fintech. It's taught the way the industry operates: applied case studies, a team capstone, and time inside London's financial district. Students leave with practical skills, a finished piece of analysis to show for it, and a much clearer view of finance careers.

About the Programme
The London Banking & Capital Markets Programme is built and taught by people who have worked in the industry, not only studied it. Teaching is led by experienced finance practitioners and supported by guest speakers from across London's financial sector, so students learn how banking and capital markets work from those who have done the job. The emphasis throughout is practical — applied case studies, real market context, and a capstone that produces work students can show.

The programme is led by Akhilesh Sharma, a financial consultant, speaker and trainer with over twenty years' experience in banking and finance, having previously worked with BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital. He holds an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Bayes Business School, London, and the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice.
Akhilesh has trained professionals at leading global financial institutions — including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, HSBC, BNP Paribas, SocGen, Nomura, Investec and KKR — as well as government departments in the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
